Bullying has recently become the focus of psychological, family, and school interventions and mental health professionals working with bullying must know the definition of bullying, causes, laws, and myths and realities. This presentation discusses these topics, as well as the types of bullying, including the types that occur among adults in the workplace or online. Also covered are factors related to assessment, most particularly fear related to reprisals and shame that might inhibit reporting.
