Highlights of the Standard Written Examination:
- The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions
- 25 non-scorable pre-test questions
- 175 scorable questions in total
- Exam time - 4 hours
- Passing score is 117 out of the 175 scorable questions for MFT candidates and 108 for LCSWs
- According to BBS statistics, only 57% of MFT candidates who took the exam between January 1, 2007, and June 30, 2007, passed. The pass rate for LCSW candidates during that period was 46%.
