Gerry Grossman Seminars BBS Prelicensure At Home

To be eligible to take the California BBS license examinations, you must complete coursework on specific topics that may not have been included in your degree studies. In addition, up to 250 of your required 3000 hours can be fulfilled through coursework and specialized training. Gerry Grossman Seminars is pleased to provide you with stimulating, up-to-date online and at-home courses to help you complete your hours. As a California continuing education provider we are approved to offer you the following courses for at-home study. The BBS website states that "All of the additional training listed [here] may be taken on-line as long as the training meets the specific requirements outlined in the Board's Licensing Laws and Regulations and the participant receives a certificate of completion."

Among our online courses we offer these that satisfy specific pre-licensure requirements:

Child Abuse - provides all 7 hours required by the BBS.
Human Sexuality - provides 5 hours toward the 10 hours required by the BBS.
Alcoholism and Other Chemical Substance Dependency - for those obtaining their degree outside of California, the BBS requires 15 hours of instruction. You can satisfy these hours by taking our courses in Substance Abuse, Clients of Alcoholic Mothers, Marijuana – Effects and Treatment and Methamphetamine Abuse.
