Developing Your Private Practice and Working with Managed Care
This workshop includes all the material we offer in our separate classes on Private Practice and Working with Managed Care.
Many therapists develop a strong therapeutic set of skills for addressing client needs, but have difficulty with the promotional aspects of the business of psychotherapy. This workshop provides practical steps and suggestions for building a robust clinical practice.
This class also includes an approach to working with managed care providers. It takes you from the initial phone call through the beginning, middle and late stages of therapy. You will be exposed to a template on how to get paid, how to get additional visits, and ethical considerations in dealing with a managed care format.

Presented by Pam Sirota, Psy.D., MFT
Pam has a private practice in West Los Angeles and Encino specializing in social skills groups, family issues, children and adolescents, grief support, and parenting. Her extensive experience as a special education teacher and pre-school director makes her an ideal instructor. She has been working as a private GGS tutor since becoming licensed in 2005. Pam has received her doctorate as a Clinical Psychologist. |
