Suggested Activities
During your free time, may we recommend:

  • Watching the sunset from the adult-only infinity pool.
  • Walking to the Shops at Wailea for exquisite shopping and delicious restaurants.
  • Taking a jog along the shoreline path.
  • Enjoying a sumptuous meal at Mala Restaurant, or one of the many other delicious restaurants nearby.
  • Savoring a Mai Tai or relaxing over lunch by the pool.
  • Indulging in a massage at the spa.
  • Snorkeling among the turtles in the nearby coral reef.
  • Booking one of the many exciting excursions:  Blue Water Rafting, Atlantis Submarines, Valley Isle Excursions all-day Hana tour (one of the best ways to see the island), or Ekahi tours Sunrise at Haleakala.
  • Utilizing your GGS discount at the hotel’s famous Luau - with one of the best fire dancers you will ever see!

Consider doing these optional activities as a group.

Monday: POLYNESIAN LUAU “Wailea’s Finest Luau”
Travel through the islands of Polynesia at this beachside luau.  Experience the songs and dances of the Polynesian cultures - Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Fijian, Tongan and more.  Excellent for all ages.  An all-you-can-eat grand buffet dinner featuring Kalua pork, grilled steak, mahi mahi, open bar and show.  Featuring a three-time world champion fire knife dancer!
5:00pm – 8:00pm.

Tuesday: SUNSET DINNER/COCKTAIL SAIL
Board Kaanapali’s newest luxury catamaran.  Departing barefoot from Kaanapali Beach.  Serving a full buffet dinner and open bar as you take in spectacular views of the outer islands and the magnificent West Maui Mountains.
Check In: 4:00pm / 4:30 – 7:00pm

Sunset cocktail with appetizers daily from West Maui and Maalaea Harbor. 

Wednesday: HANA PICNIC TOUR
Full day van tours to the Hana rainforest are available daily.  See the most beautiful area of the Valley Isle without having to drive the Hana Highway yourself!  Magnificent waterfalls, exotic flowers, black sand beach and the famous Seven Pools of Oheo, as you take in miles of unbelievable coastline.  Continental breakfast and lunch included.

Limousine/Van tours

Wednesday: HALEAKALA SUNRISE/DOWNHILL BICYCLE
Ascend the 10,023 feet of Haleakala’s summit to see one of the most beautiful dawns on earth.  Then, ride a 38-mile bicycle tour that is all downhill!  Glide through several climate zones with incredible views as you coast all the way to sea level.  Tours include round-trip hotel transportation, riding attire, breakfast, and instruction.
