I passed the WCV exam on the first try - thanks to you. I have to say that it was the hardest exam I have ever taken and I had the distinct impression that I had failed as I had no sense of whether I had responded correctly to the questions. When the computer results came up saying I had passed, I burst into tears, I was so shocked and relieved. I don't think I would have passed this exam if I hadn't taken your course - it taught me how to think about the questions in a way that, even under pressure and without confidence, helped me choose the correct answers.

I wanted to tell you that I am a licensed MFT! I passed the WCV exam on May 6, 2006. I used your programs for both the written and WCV exams. I originally purchased two other programs in addition to yours because I was not sure which program was the best. What a waste of time and money! Your program was right on target! I found the online exams and study flash cards to be very helpful. I also listened to the CD's on my long commute to work and attended the WCV info meeting. Dear Gerry: I am thrilled to let you know that I took the WCV exam last week and passed it the first time. This occurred just over three months after taking the Standard Written Exam, which I also very happily passed the first time!

Yes, I studied. I read every word in the study books, flashcards and charts and listened to the CD's over and over and over again! I used the Gerry Grossman grid system and memorized acronyms for the WCV exam and it all came together and worked for me!

Thank you so very much for putting together such an outstanding program of study. It helped organize my studying and made it all interesting and fun. The instructors were all skilled and knowledgeable and I appreciate each of them!

This is to inform you that I passed the WCV Exam on 11/14/05 and is now waiting for my license. The joker in the deck was on Sunday night I failed two [online practice] exams. I scored 43%, the lowest ever. I wasn't discouraged because I knew I was well prepared and possibly had over studied. I utilized your great system and it worked!!! Thanks to you and your staff for providing a positive and supportive learning environment. I must say the course was worth every penny!!! I'm flying pretty high and doubt I'll come down anytime soon (smile). Again thanks for everything!!!

Dear Gerry, Chuck, and Anne...my teachers!

I can't believe that I've passed my exam and am now a LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST!  When I didn't pass the Standard Written Exam ( At the time, I didn't take Gerry Grossman), I thought that it was not going to ever be possible.  I was really scared and felt disheartened about the process of becoming a therapist.  When I took the Written Exam the second time, this time I decided that I was going to purchase the Gerry Grossman online exams.  I did those exams for two to three weeks before my exam and I passed.  It helped that you had sections for certain catagories like law/ethics, clinical evaluation, crisis management, etc.  because I really needed to work on my weak areas and you had great exam questions.

  And, after I passed, I still didn't know if I was going to take the Gerry Grossman Seminars ( I guess I should've known, but I didn't) for the Clinical Vignette Exam, I was looking at different programs and then I happened to call and talk to Gerry myself.  He was SO encouraging and he told me that if I wanted to PASS, then I should choose Gerry Grossman Seminars because it works and that they have a system to help anyone pass.  Of course, I had to think about it, but that same day I signed up and the next weekend, the seminars began!  My workshop had 8 people and it felt really good to just be in a class with people who understood what I was going through.  Both teachers were so enthusiastic about the material and it really helped me break down difficult concepts.  I would have to say the best thing that I love about the seminars was the acronyms and the organization tools, in addition to the test-taking strategies.  In addition, I was able to form a study group with 2 of the Gerry Grossman classmates and it's been invaluable to my study process.  Thank you so much for your help, support, teachings, and I couldn't have done it without you guys!

Hey Gerry!!  I just wanted to send out a HUGE thank you for your wonderful class.  I just passed my MFT Clinical Vignette today and words cannot describe my happiness.  I only wish I would have taken your class 2 years ago so I didn't have to wait this long to feel this good :)  Oh well, I'm licensed!!!!!!!  Let's not hound on the negative, right!  Thanks again for a wonderful learning experience.  I will definitely recommend your study courses to many in the future.  I'm sure we'll meet up again sometime in one of your CEU classes.

I decided to take the GGS courses when I was still doing my intern hours because I was watching the other interns that were ahead of me in the process fail the Written and WCV exams left and right. They were so demoralized and wished that they had taken a prep class. So - I signed up. I started the process of studying on June 25th when I started my Written Exam 21 hour course. I had read nothing and reviewed nothing before that day. I found the classes incredibly helpful because they clarified and breathed life into information that put me to sleep when I read it on my own. The class also gave me direction on how to study. When I did study I mostly did practice tests because they gave me new information and charted my progress at the same time. I decided to sign up for the GGS WCV course before I took my written exam because I felt like the "fast track" could only help me. I took the first two days of that class and then I took a Written Mock Exam through GGS where I sat through the entire anxiety-provoking 4 hour exam in the GGS offices. I passed the Mock exam with flying colors and it gave me the confidence to move my exam date up by one month. I passed the written exam on August 18th with 40 minutes to spare and little doubt that I had passed. Most importantly, the acronyms that I had learned in the first two days of the WCV class helped me INCREDIBLY on the Written Exam! The exam questions seemed very ambiguous and those acronyms helped to give them structure. So - exactly 4 weeks to the day after passing my Written Exam and 2 1/2 weeks after finishing my WCV course, I am finished with this crazy process because I passed my WCV exam today with 20 minutes to spare!! Without a doubt - Gerry Grossman Seminars creates much harder tests than the BBS! I was only passing the Gerry Grossman tests by 1 to 3 points with each practice test, but I got antsy yesterday and called the BBS. I still had not received my letter saying that I could take the WCV since I only took the Written Exam 4 weeks ago and I wanted to know when I could expect the letter. The BBS woman said that I didn't have to wait to get the letter since the BBS had the information and I could take the test whenever I wanted. So...I called immediately and signed up for next week. Then I got even more antsy - I took one more practice test and passed by 2 points. I decided one more week was not giving me anything that I didn't already have and I called the testing folks back and scheduled for today! That test was so much easier than GGS tests - I seriously had NO DOUBT that I had passed by the end. Hooray! I felt the same way about the written exam - very well prepared.
Needless to say, I am incredibly satisfied with my experience with GGS and will recommend it to all. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I passed both MFT exams first time.  I truly want to thank you for developing such a wonderful program that prepared me and gave me the confidence I needed to accomplish such an achievement. 

My initial consultation with you made my licensure submission request so easy, I didn't have any problems getting approved by the BBS.  The written course gave me the materials and information to sit through 4 hours of mind boggling multiple choice questions.  Finally, your test taking strategies for the vignette exam was the only way I could organize and attempt making the correct answer choices.  However, I need to emphasize the importance of my independent studying as well, but the information you provided was all I needed. I never once reviewed any of my old textbooks.  These are the materials I valued the most: Your on-line test taking, which allowed me to estimate my time and become comfortable with the testing format; the flash cards that went with me everywhere so that I could review when ever I had a spare moment; and the CDs that I listened to for months during my 2 hour commute to and from work, and while exercising. Actually, more information on the CDs would not be a bad idea considering all the driving we do in Los Angeles.

The test bank and its different formats were most helpful. I also found it helpful that you provided so many different ways (i.e. flip cards, discs, test bank, big study page, etc) to learn the material. Not all worked for me; obviously, I got it somewhere.
